Resource Management Committee Report

The Resource Management committee is not, perhaps, the most politically exciting of the Executive committees, but it is of vital importance to the day-to-day running of the Union, including, of course our National Conferences.

Following Nina Franklin, ex-President’s appointment as a Regional Officer, the Executive has formally appointed Julie Lyon-Taylor to fill the vacant National Officer’s place for the remainder of the Executive cycle.  As a result, the committee agreed to a by-election for Julie’s former Executive area of Cheshire, Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, St Helen’s, Sefton, Warrington and the Wirral. Nominations will close on the 7th January, and if it is contested, voting will be between 30th January and 20th February.
